   Colorado Licensing Rules:
   To become a licensed agent in the State of Colorado you must first be a licensed Health and Life Insurance Agent. This requires completing a course of study and passing the Colorado Licensing Exam for Health and Life. Agents licensed in Colorado must also complete 24 hours of Continuing Education Credits every two years to keep their insurance license active.

   Once you have completed the Colorado Insurance initial licensing process, you must compete a 2 Hour Long Term Care Insurance Certification Course (see dates and times for courses provided by us). There is no test required, just class instruction. You are now ready to be appointed with one or more carriers who offer long term care insurance in Colorado.

   Other State Licensing Rules:
   Licensing to sell long term care insurance in states, other than Colorado, varies based on each individual state's licensing requirements. Contact each state Division of Insurance for information.
